Paul has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry with 17 years working as a building inspector across Local Authority and Approved Inspectors sectors. Paul has specialised in working within the high-rise residential sector undertaking compliance oversight on some of the largest residential schemes in England and Wales. Paul has completed a masters degree in fire safety engineering achieving a grade of distinction with his dissertation which was on the effects of electric vehicle fires in enclosed car parks.  Paul also has practical firefighting experience from working at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue service (WYFRS) as a retained fire fighter.

Ittshaam has worked in the construction industry since 2019, graduating with First Class Honours in Building Surveying. As a Chartered Building Engineer (CABE) and Class 3H Specialist Building Inspector, he has extensive building control experience across high-rise residential schemes, new-build commercial projects, fit-outs, and care facilities. As Head of Building Control, Ittshaam leads building control’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of technical quality and regulatory compliance across all projects.

Darren has been working in building control surveyor since 1998 in both public and private sectors. Darren has worked with Building Regulations and supporting documents for over 27 years and has a comprehensive understanding of the application of building regulations within the building procurement and design process. Experienced in advising clients on a wide range of requirements required for Building Safety Act and building control compliance. Darren also has comprehensive understanding of MOD processors, BB100, HTM codes, BS 9991 , BS 9999 and fire engineered solutions. In recent years Darren has provided building control compliance certification for numerous projects within a wide range of industry sectors including data centres, MOD projects, healthcare premises, schools, shops, residential schemes and office/laboratory buildings. Darren registered as a Class 3G/H Specialist Building Inspector in 2024 and has been a full member and Chartered Surveyor of the RICS and CABE for 20 years.
